At Chicago Canine Rescue we’re helping build a community where all dogs have safe, healthy, loving homes. Founded in 2001, we’ve proudly saved the lives of over 8,000 dogs and puppies. The dogs in our care come to us from open-intake animal shelter facilities, from a handful of rural partners who lack the resources for adoptions, and from families who can no longer care for them.

Whether a CCR dog comes to us from across the street or across the country, our commitment is for life. While they’re with us, we provide our dogs with medical support, rehabilitation, behavioral training, love, and affection. And we take the time to connect each dog with the Chicagoland family who can best provide a safe and happy home that meets their needs.
